Meghan Markle Reportedly Chose Her Wedding Dress Designer & We’re Freaking Out
Out of all the decisions that go into wedding planning, choosing the dress and designer are arguably the most important. Thankfully, Meghan Markle can cross one of those items off her list.
The soon-to-be royal reportedly chose the designer who will create her custom-made wedding gown for her May 19 wedding to Prince Harry, according to royal reporter Omid Scobie.
Markle is keeping the name of the designer secret, but she allegedly flew out her best friend, wedding stylist Jessica Mulroney, to help sift through gowns during private dress fittings at Kensington Palace. “They’ve tried on a number of different designs and are currently whittling it down to the best design for the day,” Scobie said.
Mulroney has been instrumental in putting together Markle’s new royal wardrobe. Scobie says, Markle’s bestie has “helped piece together a number of Meghan’s most recent looks (including her iconic engagement announcement outfit). She is also helping with several other wedding day elements.”
The question remains: Will she go with a British brand or give a nod to her American roots? We’re dying to find out.
