Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Kate Middleton, and Prince William Will Reunite This Weekend
Rumors about a rift between the Duke of Sussex and his brother, the Duke of Cambridge, have been circulating for months now, but they were never publicly acknowledged by the royal family until Prince Harry was specifically asked about the tensions in the recent documentary about his and Meghan's royal tour of southern Africa.
"Part of this role and part of this job and this family being under the pressure that it’s under... stuff happens," Harry says in the clip below. "But look we’re brothers. We’ll always be brothers."
He continues: "We’re certainly on different paths at the moment but I will always be there for him and as I know he’ll always be there for me... We don’t see each other as much as we used to because we’re so busy but I love him dearly."
Harry also noted that while there is a grain of truth to the story, the press has exaggerated the situation, even suggesting that some elements of the narrative have been falsified entirely.
"The majority of the stuff is created out of nothing but as brothers it’s just as I said, you have good days, you have bad days," he said.
This weekend, for the first time since Harry made those comments, the two brothers will appear in public together, as the "fab four" so to speak will reunite at a series of events for Remembrance Day.
Harry, alongside his wife Meghan, and William, with his wife Kate will all appear at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall. There will be quite the crowd at the performance—nearly every working member of the royal family, including the Queen, all four of her children, and several of her cousins is expected to be in attendance.
On Sunday, a similar group will gather at the Cenotaph for a Remembrance Sunday, when Prince Charles will lay a wreath on his mother's behalf.
This weekend could be one of the last times the public sees Meghan and Harry before Christmas.
According to the Sunday Times, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be taking six weeks off from their royal duties starting in November, and plan spend Thanksgiving Meghan's mother Doria in L.A.
A royal source told reporter Roya Nikkah, "The duke and duchess have a full schedule of engagements and commitments until mid-November, after which they will be taking some much-needed family time."
