Meghan Markle and Prince Harry aren't inviting political leaders to the royal wedding — so no Trump, Obama
Invitations to the royal wedding have gone out — but there weren’t any addressed to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue or 10 Downing Street.
Royal correspondents are reporting that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have opted to not invite political leaders to the royal wedding, which mean President Trump and Prime Minister Theresa May will be staying home on May 19. (They’re still welcome to make a charitable donation for the wedding, of course.)
According to Richard Palmer, the royal correspondent for Britain’s Express newspaper, Kensington Palace has confirmed that welcoming world leaders to the nuptials was “not required.”
A KP spokesman says: “It has been decided that an official list of political leaders – both UK and international – is not required for Prince Harry and Ms. Markle's wedding. Her Majesty's Government was consulted on this decision, which was taken by The Royal Household.”

The decision was based on the fact that Prince Harry, who will be sixth in line of succession for the throne once his future niece or nephew is born this month, is unlikely to be king. The couple will instead invite guests with whom they have a personal relationship.
Essentially, it’s been decided that there’s no need for official guests, as Prince Harry is not likely to be a future King. Everyone inside the chapel will know Harry and Meghan personally.

That criteria also means that foreign royals aren’t guaranteed an invitation.
On foreign royalty attending Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding, I’m told it will depend if they are friends. Nobody will be invited because of the position they hold.

So where does that leave Barack and Michelle Obama? Though Kensington Palace’s statement didn’t specifically name them, and Prince Harry is thought to have a tight friendship with the former president and first lady, sources close to the royals say the Obamas weren’t included on the guest list.
Also big news: Barack and Michelle Obama will not be at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, a royal source has confirmed to @CNN

That probably also means the rumor that Hillary Clinton would snag an invitation is unfounded. See, Trump? Every cloud…
