Meghan Markle & Her In-Laws Had the Best Reaction When a Bee Crashed Prince Harry's Speech
It appears Meghan Markle is adjusting A-OK to life as a royal family member.
Today, the Suits star and her new husband, Prince Harry, made their first public appearance as a married couple when they attended Prince Charles’s 70th birthday party at Buckingham Palace. Sure, we can’t deny that the Duchess of Sussex title looks awfully good on Markle (fascinators FTW), but this candid photo of the new royal sharing a laugh with her in-laws may go down as our all-time favorite snap.
It all started when Prince Harry stepped up to the podium to give a speech in honor of his father, Prince Charles. The tribute went downhill when a bee started buzzing around his ear, prompting the prince to swat the insect before apologizing, “Sorry, that bee really got me.”
Cue Markle, Charles and his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, sharing an adorable laugh that—lucky for us—was captured by a photographer.
The best part? Prince Charles proceeded to lean in and ask why everyone’s giggling, prompting the duchesses (and us) to burst into laughter.
Classic grandpa move.
