Meghan Markle Goes for Color at New Event
Meghan Markle, ever the busy royal-to-be, attended her third event of the week with Prince Harry: the Invictus Games Sydney celebration reception hosted by Australia's Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, ahead of the actual games in October. In a sure sign it is spring in London (and it is! It's 71 degrees!), Markle took a break from her mostly neutral royal wardrobe for a bright, green statement dress by Self-Portrait. She paired it with her Alexander McQueen Grain de Poudre blazer, Roland Mouret bag, and Manolo Blahnik heels. The lighting was excellent, so the photos of her in the ensemble were especially stunning:
Most of the pieces from Markle's $3,130+ look (that she and Harry paid for) are still available, though the leather bag is sold out.

Royal reporters believe that Markle may also attend a second event tonight, the Queen's birthday party concert at Royal Albert Hall, with Prince Harry. It isn't without warrant: Markle's general participation in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting events this week has been considered by some royal experts to be unprecedented-and a sign of clear approval from the family, as Markle hasn't even married Prince Harry yet.
