Meghan Markle’s First Post-Wedding Outfit Took an Unexpected Turn
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been pronounced "husband and wife," but don't expect a honeymoon anytime soon.
The couple stepped out only a few days after tying the knot, and they did so in honor of Harry's dad, Prince Charles.
For the special occasion, Markle wore a cream colored Goat dress with completely sheer sleeves and a matching hat. The outfit looks a lot like ensembles that her new sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, has worn in the past. Markle smiled widely as her husband (!) gave a speech at the event.
Meghan and Harry delayed their honeymoon to Africa in order to celebrate Prince Charles's 70th birthday patronage celebrations, including a garden party at Buckingham Palace.

Of course, as everyone knows by now, Charles stepped up for the young couple during their nuptials by walking Markle down the aisle himself after her own father, Thomas Markle, was left unable. It's really only natural that their first public act now that they're married is to honor him.
A sweet gesture from the newlyweds indeed.
