Meghan Markle Cooks for Herself and Prince Harry Every Day
It's one thing for Meghan Markle to put out a cookbook, or prepare a roast chicken for Prince Harry on a special occasion-it's entirely another for her to practice what she preaches, day in and day out.
In a recent People article, we learned that she does just that. Meghan's longtime friends opened up about her lifestyle, insisting that it wasn't as glamorous as people might think. "We’ve all been to their cottage," a source told the magazine. "It’s small and she’s made it cozy, but the perception of their lifestyle and the reality are two different things. Meg cooks for herself and Harry every single day."
Yes, Meghan Markle, married to the brother of the future king of England, prepares a home-cooked meal on the daily. While many of would likely lean in to the benefits of royalty-one of which is surely access to a private chef-Meghan has chosen to stay down-to-earth. Indeed, she seems to enjoy taking care of her own.
"In the room she made up for me, there was a candle lit by the bed, slippers and a robe," a friend of Meghan's from LA told People. "We were the only two in the house. It was our time. She made the most lovely meals. She made tea every day. It was raining and muddy outside, so the dogs got all dirty, and she’s wiping them off with towels. How much she loves her animals, how much she loves her friends, how much she loves feeding you, taking care of you-none of that has changed."
