Megan Thee Stallion Returns to the Red Carpet in a Magnificent Black Gown
Megan Thee Stallion has officially made her grand return to the red carpet.
The Grammy-winning rapper turned heads with her arrival at the Vanity Fair's Oscars After Party. She wore a custom Bach Mai strapless mermaid gown, which included a glistening black pattern and a netted corset bust. She upped the ante via her accessories, wearing a diamond choker necklace and diamond chandelier earrings.
Megan's last red-carpet walk occurred in June 2022, when she appeared at the premiere of STARZ's P-Valley Season 2. Then, she had worn a strappy hot pink gown with a halter neck, criss-crossing torso cut-outs, and a thigh-high leg slit. She paired the flashy look with golden bracelets and matching hot pink heels.
Megan previously attended the 2020 Oscars, where she wore a slate-blue strapless gown by Indian designer Gaurav Gupta. The jaw-dropping piece featured stripes of embellished sequins, a side torso cutout, a leg-baring slit, and a skirt that flowed out in pleated waves.
For Harper's BAZAAR's March 2021 cover story, Megan opened up about taking control of her own image.
"I’m realizing that I don’t have to be in full glam every time you see me, because I’m just getting more comfortable with myself and more comfortable with my skin," she said. "I know that I’m a person that everybody looks to, and they’re like, ‘Oh, Megan, she’s a confident woman. She’s so strong.’ But you have to go through things to become that person."
