Megan Thee Stallion Just Shared Graphic Images Of Her Foot After Being Shot
Megan Thee Stallion posted photos on Instagram showing how her foot is healing.
The rapper underwent surgery after being shot in the foot on July 12th.
Megan said she's healing well and posted the update to address rumors spreading online. The post was deleted soon after it went up.
Back in July, rapper Megan Thee Stallion revealed on Instagram that she was shot multiple times on July 12 and underwent surgery to remove the bullets. Today, she shared a new update with fans (complete with photos) in an Instagram post that was taken down shortly after it went up.
Megan said she originally decided to share her story to set the record straight about what had happened and her condition after many people doubted she had been shot.
In her latest post, Megan focused on sharing news about her recovery, in addition to the gruesome photos of her injuries.
"Lol what I have learned abt majority of the people on social media is y’all like to hear bad news before good news, a lie spreads quicker than the truth, and y’all really be believing the shit YALL make up..." she wrote.
She went on to detail more about what happened and where exactly she was shot.
"I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot I was WALKING AWAY FACING THE BACK. why would I lie abt getting shot?" she said.
She also addressed some haters that have been critical of her recovery and what she's been up to since the injury (her song "WAP" with Cardi B just went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts) .
"Why are y’all so upset that I don’t wanna be in the bed sad? Why y’all upset that I can walk ? I got my stitches out my feet like 2 weeks ago and I was ready to go celebrate WAP going number1...I usually don’t address internet bullshit but y’all people are so sick!" she shared.
She ended her post with a positive update.
"God was really watching over me and I’m healing so well! Sorry I’m not as sad and miserable as a lot of y’all lol but ima keep being Megan Thee Mf STALLION," she wrote.
And she got tons of love and support from her friends. Winnie Harlow commented, "the MF ??????," and producer Timbaland wrote, "Talk that talk ????????". While Taraji P. Henson also commented, "Bloop ??????????????", and Chance The Rapper wrote, "??????".
