Megan Fox quotes Joan Rivers and reveals her abs in a matching green outfit: 'I don't exercise'
Megan Fox may have a new favorite color.
The Jennifer’s Body actress, 36, took to Instagram on Friday to share a photo of herself rocking a lime green top and matching pants, which was snapped the same day as her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly’s Los Angeles concert on July 13.
The midriff baring outfit also shows off Fox’s sculpted abs. The New Girl alum quoted comedian Joan Rivers in her caption, writing, “I don’t exercise. If God had wanted me to bend over he would have put diamonds on the floor.”
Not everyone got the Rivers reference, however. One of Fox’s followers wrote, “Looks like this and says she doesn’t workout. Sad we can’t all just be friggin honest.” Another added, “Those abs say otherwise.”
Others applauded the mom of three's look, with one commenting, “This woman does not have to worry about her man finding a hotter girl on tour.” A second shared, “Stop Megan you slayin them too hard.”
For the record, Fox has been very open about her exercise routine. In 2014, she told E! News, "I exercise really hard twice a week. I got my ass kicked this morning before I came here! I do bursts of cardio with really heavy weights. Circuit training."
Her abs may not only come from her intense workouts, however. Fox has also spoken about receiving EmSculpt Neo treatments, which uses electromagnetic technology to strengthen one’s core.
In an interview with Glamour UK in April, Fox shared that people don’t always understand her personality — but that it’s only made her stronger.
“The [only] regret I have is that my personality is so lost on people, my sense of humor is lost. My intelligence is not acknowledged,” she said. “And so that is a regret. Sometimes I feel like I just waste my energy, giving myself to people who don’t understand and won’t appreciate [me], but I’ve never had anything where I look back now and think, ‘I really shouldn’t have said that’ Because even the terrible things caused me to do so much work on myself, that I grew exponentially, because of it.”
While Fox may be loving green right now, it’s not the color she typically wears. She recently matched with her pink-loving spouse-to-be MGK — completely with rose-colored hair — for the premiere of his Hulu documentary Life in Pink. She captioned an Instagram pic of her look from the red carpet, “Absolute chaos nyc. SOS.”
