Queen Rania of Jordan

Born to Palestinian parents in Kuwait, Queen Rania became the world’s youngest queen when her husband, Abdullah, was crowned king in 1999 (she was 28). She's an avid user of social media, with 4 million followers on Instagram, and an advocate of education, health, community empowerment, youth, cross-cultural dialogue and micro-finance. She’s also hugely stylish, wearing newer designers like Proenza Schouler as well as staples like Valentino (seen above, at the Met Gala).

Princess Deena Aljuhani Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia

Born in California, Princess Deena spent her early life moving between the Middle East and the U.S. (her economist father taught at universities in Colorado and Michigan). In her early 20s, she married the Saudi prince Sultan bin Fahad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, and last year became the first editor in chief of Vogue Arabia. She’s no longer with the magazine, but her status as a street-style star lives on. Fashion-forward and bold, she favors designers like Erdem, Mary Katrantzou and Jason Wu.

Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana of Thailand

The daughter of Thailand's current king, Nariratana is a front-row fixture at Paris Fashion Week. A fan of designers like Balmain, Chanel and Dior (which she’s wearing above), Nariratana isn’t afraid to take risks when it comes to ruffles, leather and sheer fabric. She’s also an accomplished equestrian and has a horse cheekily named Prince Charming.

Queen Letizia of Spain

A former journalist and news anchor, Queen Letizia has been married to King Felipe VI since 2004. Her always-elegant style is often polished for daytime events and super glam for night. In addition to designer labels like Carolina Herrera and Nina Ricci, she's an avid supporter of Spanish brands, from couturier Felipe Varela to fast-fashion Zara and Mango.

Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned of Qatar

The wife of Qatar's former emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani is known for customizing couture looks from designers like Jean Paul Gaultier, Hermès and Giambattista Valli to meet Middle Eastern modesty standards. She’s also an education activist, co-founding the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development.

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands

Queen Máxima grew up in Buenos Aires before meeting her husband, King Willem-Alexander, in Spain. She speaks Spanish, English, Dutch and conversational French. Her style is fun, not too stuffy (like the flowy Luisa Beccaria gown above) and frequently features orange, the official color of the Dutch royal family.

Princess Madeleine of Sweden

The youngest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, Princess Madeleine is currently seventh in the line of succession. Sartorially, she favors a mix of classic pieces (think: timeless trench coats) as well as showstopping gowns (worn with a tiara, of course). A noted fan of Valentino, she’s been photographed at the brand’s show at Paris Fashion Week (above), and in 2013 she married an American-British financier in a Valentino Haute Couture gown with a gorgeously dramatic train.

Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece

Born in London, Princess Marie-Chantal was raised in Hong Kong before attending boarding school in Switzerland. She’s the founder and creative director of Marie-Chantal, a children's-wear brand that sells $450 baby pajamas. She’s also friends with Valentino Garavani, and frequently wears designs from his eponymous label, as well as Alexander McQueen and Gucci.

Princess Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis of Germany

A London-based member of the former German princely House of Thurn und Taxis, Elisabeth (who goes by the nickname TNT) has been Vogue's style editor-at-large since 2012. She is a champion of emerging designers like Simone Rocha, Esteban Cortazar and Adam Lippes, and her Instagram account is also a treasure trove of swoon-worthy clothes and beautiful people.
