Marvin Memorial Library announces Hoopla program, seeks cruise-in entries
SHELBY — Marvin Memorial Library in Shelby will host the program "How to Use Hoopla" at 1 p.m. July 9.
Hoopla Customer Support Specialist Lexi Weathover will demonstrate how to use Hoopla to stream movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and TV shows. You’ll be able to enjoy them on your computer, tablet or smartphone right away or download them so you can enjoy them offline. You should bring your digital device and your library card to learn how to get free access to this digital resource.
The library is also inviting the community to participate in the third annual Cruise-In at the Library, which will be part of the End of the Summer Reading Block Party on July 19.
There are 35 spots available on the pavement for vehicles, and the first 35 to register will get these spots. You could win one of three prizes. If you have a nice ride that you would like to show off, forward your name, the make and model, along with a photograph of the vehicle to [email protected].
