Martha Stewart Watches Supermoon with Granddaughter in Sweet Photo
Martha Stewart will do anything for a good pic–even if it means getting up before the sun.
The 81-year-old media personality shared a new photo of herself bonding with her granddaughter Jude over the great outdoors. According to the Martha Stewart Living namesake, the two snuck outside in the early morning hours on Tuesday, specifically to the top-level terrace, to try and snap pictures of the supermoon.
This is just the latest proof that Stewart is the world's coolest grandmother, also add her iconic thirst traps and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover shoot to the list of reasons.

"Jude stewart and me on the upstairs terrace at four am trying to capture the sturgeon moon on our i phones," she wrote before thanking the photographer, "@osteigna captured us ! Thanks Angie."
As the home and hospitality pro mentioned in her caption, this week's full moon is also known as the "sturgeon moon" because it occurs around the time of year that, historically, indigenous populations in the northeastern part of the U.S. (including the Algonquin tribes) discovered that the giant freshwater fish of the same name could easily be caught in the Great Lakes and other major bodies of water like Lake Champlain, according to The Old Farmer’s Almanac.
Other names reported for this week's full moon include the Red Moon, the Corn or Green Corn Moon, the Barley Moon, the Herb Moon, the Grain Moon, and the Dog Moon.
This August is a bit more special than most, though, as there will be a second full moon–or a "blue moon"–later this month, on Aug. 30. peaking at 9:36 p.m. ET, according to the almanac.
