Mark Your Calendar: Sophie Turner Reveals When ‘Game of Thrones’ Will Return
If you’re one of the select few who haven’t yet caught up on Game of Thrones, you have plenty of time. Like, years.
Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on the popular HBO drama, confirmed our worst nightmare to Variety: GoT is not returning until 2019.
The newly engaged actress spoke about the progression of shooting season eight and said, “We started in October, so we’re maybe, like, a tenth of the way through…No, no, we’ve got six or seven months left.”
For those struggling to grasp what this means for the six-episode season, she clarified, “Game of Thrones comes out in 2019.” Ugh.
Well, at least Kit Harington and Turner have plenty of time to plan their respective weddings.
Meanwhile, we’ll be listening to Paula Cole’s “I Don’t Want to Wait” and sulking.
