MAE'S Cafe now open at the River Valley Mall food court
LANCASTER ? A new café at the River Valley Mall quickly changed hands.
Former Krazy Food and More owner Kathy Cline sold the business to former Deb's Corner Cafe owner Debra Houston.
MAE's Cafe is now in the spot with Todd Rutter the business owner.
"We were looking to get into something again as far as the restaurant business goes," he said. "It became available, so we thought why not? We'll give it a shot and see how it goes. It's been pretty good, actually. Right now, lunch is our busiest time."

Rutter said he had some trepidation about opening a business in the mall.
"We did," he said. "We thought about it and juggled the idea around for a while. But we had the opportunity to buy the spot there at a reasonable price and we went ahead and did it. As of right now, it's paying off. There's not complaints right now. Once lunchtime comes around we get pretty busy."
Here are some more things to know about MAE'S Cafe:
Menu highlights include burgers, wraps, gyros and more.
It is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. seven days a week. Rutter said the hours will probably change soon as he gauges how business at the mall goes.
