The Luxuriously Soft Bamboo Sheets That Made Me Give Up Cotton for Good (Plus, They’re on Sale!)
Before stepping into this gig, I didn’t really spend much time thinking about my bedding. Granted, I was a college student and didn’t really have the funds to splurge, but I was pretty doubtful about how much of a difference something as (seemingly) minimal as sheets could make. But now that I’ve spent almost half a year improving my bedscape, slowly but surely, I’ve seen the light. One stellar mattress topper, supportive memory foam pillow, and ultra-soft duvet cover later, I’m sleeping better than ever. My latest upgrade, though, just might be my favorite out of them all: Ettitude’s Signature Sateen Sheet Set.
I’ve tried a number of materials when it comes to sheets, but I’ve always ended up going back to cotton. Ettitude’s signature lyocell bamboo was new to me, but ever since I placed these sheets on my mattress, I’ve felt like I’ve been sleeping on a fancy hotel bed. I’m so obsessed with the soft, crisp feel that I don’t think I’ll ever use any other kind ever again. Right now, you can also take your bedding up a notch — and for less. Ettitude is offering AT readers an exclusive 20% off discount until Feb. 29. Just add the code AT20 at checkout!

What is the Signature Sateen Sheet Set?
Ettitude is all about sustainability, creating bedding made out of its signature “CleanBamboo” fabric. It’s a lyocell made from organic bamboo, and the brand completely cuts out toxins and pesticides from the production process. Further, everything is made using regenerative resources — the bamboo grows quickly in FSC-certified forests, sequesters more carbon than trees, and contributes to restoring degraded land. Further, the brand claims that their breathable bedding “is scientifically proven to improve sleep,” and, since it’s hypoallergenic and antimicrobial, better for sensitive skin.
The signature sheets, in particular, are crafted using a patented closed-loop process that’s free of chemicals and plastics. The result is a remarkably soft, sateen weave that’s used for the included fitted and top sheets and pillowcases. The brand even says that the feel is comparable to 1,000-thread count cotton. The colors on offer include neutral white and gray, as well as a number of rich, earthy tones. The deep pockets can fit over 17-inch mattresses, and the set comes with a drawstring bag for storage, to boot.
Why I Love the Signature Sateen Sheet Set?
Even before washing them, I knew at first touch that these were unlike any other sheets I’d ever tried before. The bamboo material is so smooth and buttery that it could easily be mistaken for silk — and after washing them, it only got even better. The fitted and top sheets easily fit over my mattress and topper; in fact, they were a bit wide, but it was nothing a bit of tucking couldn’t fix. They haven’t budged or gotten bunched up since, and I toss and turn a decent amount.
I could detect an immediate difference the second I first pulled the covers back and got into bed. As soft as the fabric is, it isn’t to the point where you feel like you’re slipping and sliding, which I appreciate. I’ve found that they’re more crisp than my cotton sets, and it feels loads better on my skin. Plus, in my uncomfortably drafty bedroom, they make my bed cozier and warmer, but not to the point where I think I’ll have to swap them out come summer. All in all, I think I’ve found my forever sheets, and for that, I can confidently say that they’re worth the splurge. Still, you should save while you can and take advantage of the 20% off sale before it ends on Monday!
