The account pointed followers to @saturday_morning_nostalgia, who found bags of the Lucky Charms "Just Magical Marshmallows" at their local supermarket in Knoxville. While the post didn't elaborate on the taste of the actual marshmallows (which, if you're here, I'm going to go ahead and assume you're familiar with the sticky-sweet flavor profile of Lucky Charms' best asset), it did exude wild amounts of happiness, which I will take to mean the product is great.
Per a press release from Lucky Charms, the bag of, well, just marshmallows, costs $3.99, depending on where you find it. Also, it will be in stores for an unspecified "limited time." Seeing as this has been a project years in the making, I'm not surprised. Brbrbrbrbrbrbrb—running to my nearest cereal-stocked store to load up on this perfection.
Original post, 3/18/19: Nearly two years since General Mills' last limited-edition launch of Marshmallow-Only Lucky Charms, the brand is bringing back the crowd favorite contest—on an even larger scale. The promotion, which first began in 2015 with the release of just 10 boxes, has continued to grow. In 2017, 10,000 winners received the cereal and now, 15,000 will score a box of the rainbow and unicorn-shaped 'mallows.
"It's no secret that Lucky Charms fans love the marshmallows," director of marketing for cereal at General Mills, Scott Baldwin, said in a statement. I mean, he's not wrong. "Consumers have flooded our inboxes and swept our social feeds begging for Lucky Charms Marshmallow Only to return. You asked, and we listened."
Here's the catch: The whole problem with "limited-edition" is that the supply is, well, limited. So, if you're dying to get your hands on one of the 15,000 , you need to commit. The company is set to launch specially-marked packages through summer 2019 with a code to reveal your fate. If you miss out on the deal, you'll have to resort to old fashioned desperation—i.e. individually sorting marshmallows from the classic box. You gotta do what you gotta do.

Winners are also welcomed into the "elite Lucky Charms Marshmallow Only Club." And while we aren't exactly sure what membership entails, we want in. It sounds SO elusive. The promo is currently underway, so you might want to add a couple Lucky Charms boxes to your weekly shopping list. See you at the supermarket?
