How to Make the Ribbon Wreath
Cut lengths of velvet, satin, and taffeta ribbons. Fold them into loops, and wire several loops onto a floral pick.
Cover the surface of a plastic-foam wreath with ribbons, alternating ribbon types, shades, and heights for optimal interest. Secure the ribbons by pushing the floral picks into the foam base, using a bit of hot glue if necessary to get a good hold.
Nestle pearly white ornaments in multiple sizes between the loops and hot-glue them in place.
Make the bow at the bottom of the wreath by layering velvet ribbon loops onto a longer piece of ribbon and gluing them in place. Wire the whole assembly to a pick and anchor it to the wreath bottom by inserting in the back of the foam form.
Editor's tip: You can hang this wreath indoors or outdoors, but if you choose an outdoor location, pick one that's protected from the elements. Ribbon colors may fade in direct sun and wet weather could cause the wreath to deteriorate faster.
