Local salon quickly gaining traction, in search of more help

Jul. 25—Luxe Beauty Lounge, a recently established salon located in London's Dogpatch Trading Center, hosted its ribbon-cutting with the London-Laurel Chamber of Commerce the morning of Friday, July 12.

The business is owned by Somerset Community College graduates Tiffani Hoogeveen and Crystal Johnson who graduated together, sharing the same dream of opening a salon.

Graduating in February, the pair opened the salon only three months later in May.

"We didn't think we could do it this soon," Hoogeveen stated.

The salon has been a success thus far, receiving multiple positive reviews across the internet. Several clients have become returning customers.

The salon is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. While it is closed on Saturday, clients may still book appointments on that day. However, the salon is completely closed on Sunday at this time.

Hoogeveen, Johnson, and Reanna Sunshine all dye, cut, and style hair. Sunshine, who additionally performs manicures, has her own website at reannasunshine.glossgenius.com.

The Luxe Beauty Lounge's other services include waxing, facials, scalp treatments, and eyelash extensions.
