These Limited-Edition Hostess Donettes Are Smothered In Rainbow Fruitfetti
Hostess knows a thing or two about good food. Ever heard of the a little snack called the Twinkie? But it's their latest launch that puts Twinkies (and Ho Hos...and Ding Dongs) to shame. For a limited time, Fruitfetti Donettes are hitting Walmart shelves.
Oh, and did I mention they've already landed at the retail giant? You can pick them up right now! This very moment! In fact, The Impulsive Buy spotted 'em yesterday.
According to a rep for the brand, the new product features the brand's "signature sweet donut batter, cooked to golden brown perfection with a burst of fruity flavor in a fun colorful crumb coating."
They're retailing for just $2, and they're basically the sole reason I've given up my summer diet (...on the first official day of summer). You won't find them anywhere but Walmart, either. So exclusive, we know. I think it's part of the appeal, but also, the overload of rainbow sprinkles? That helps, too.
Some fans were a bit skeptical about the Donettes. "Those look so gross, sorry for anybody who likes these," one very wrong user wrote. But pretty much everyone else was here for the debut. There were a lot of 👀🔥😍 emojis happening in the comments.

Because we live in a wonderful, magical world, Hostess released Honey Bun and Donette-flavored cereal back in November, too. And while it was kinda love at first sight with these Fruitfetti mini donuts, the cereal does have actual powdered sugar. So I'd say it's a close call.
