Libations by the Levee returns Saturday

Jul. 25—This Saturday, brewers, vintners and distillers will gather in Rushville's Riverside Park for the seventh annual Libations by the Levee event.

The city of Rushville, in partnership with Indiana On Tap and The Heart of Rushville, are sponsoring the gathering that's scheduled to run from 2 to 6 p.m.

As has been the case the past few years, this year's Libations by the Levee will take place among the trees and shade on the north side of the park that also plays host to Rushville's popular Live by the Levee summer concert series.

Attendees will be able to enjoy unlimited samples of craft beer, wine and spirits from more than 20 Hoosier vendors. In addition, the afternoon will feature three different bands/musicians performing throughout the day, which is sure to create a music festival-like atmosphere.

Also on hand will be various food trucks and assorted games.

Advance sale tickets, available until Saturday, are priced at $40 for general admission and $45 for a VIP entry. That price increases Saturday to $45 for general admission and $50 for a VIP ticket.

VIP ticket holders will receive an extra hour to enjoy the event, with gates opening for VIP ticket entry at 2 p.m. and general admission entry beginning at 3 p.m. Designated driver tickets must be purchased at the gate for $20 the day of the event and may enter the event at any time.

Attendees must be 21 years or older and must present a valid I.D. at the gate; this includes designated drivers.

The event will be held rain or shine.

Participating breweries, wineries and distilleries include Hoppy Days Brewing of Glenwood, Creek Bottom Brewery of Oldenburg, Vodka Squeeze of Carmel, Tree City Brew Company of Greensburg, Hog Molly Brewing of Columbus, Hard Truth Spirits of Nashville, Tarnished Hollow Brewing of Elwood, Bob-O-Link Liquors of Rushville, Elm Street Brewing of Muncie, Wizard Wines & Vines of Bloomfield, Moon Drops Distillery of Fortville, Northern Tropics Brewing of Muncie, Hi & Mighty Distillery of Indianapolis, Quaff On! Brewing of Nashville, Perry Vine of South Bend, Traveler's Point Distillery of Kirklin, Backroads Vineyard of Laurel, Saint Benedict's Brew Works of Ferdinand, Easley Winery of Indianapolis, Distillery 64 of New Albany, Chapman's Brewing of Fort Wayne, Four Day Ray Brewing of Fishers/Yorktown, and Dragon's Mouth Distillery of Elkhart.
