Liam Hemsworth Gave Miley Cyrus the Sweetest Shoutout on Their First Public Date Since Their Wedding
Liam Hemsworth had new wife Miley Cyrus on the brain while attending the G'Day USA Los Angeles Gala last night. The newlyweds attended the gala together, and Hemsworth gave Cyrus the most adorable shoutout when he took to the stage to accept an award for his work on Independence Day and The Hunger Games.
"Thank you to my beautiful wife," he began. "You are a sweet, sweet angel." And when Hemsworth was ready to move on from thanking his wife and shift the focus to his parents, Cyrus mouthed, "Talk more about me!" Watch the clip below.
So sweet! While he wasn't on stage, Hemsworth was clearly cozying up to Cyrus and enjoying his first public date night since their secret wedding at the end of last year.
The two wed on December 23, and yesterday's gala marks the first time the two have stepped out publicly since their ceremony. Ahead of accepting his award inside the gala venue, Hemsworth took some time to gush about married life with Cyrus.
"We've been together for 10 years...doesn't feel like a lot's changed on one hand," he told red carpet reporters. "But [on] the other hand it does, it's all great."
We're glad they're still just being (Liam and) Miley.
