Las Vegas Super Bowl Suites Are So Expensive That Even Travis Kelce's Mom Might Not Get One
Few sports fans are as excited for Sunday as Donna Kelce, who will get to watch her son, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce play in his second Super Bowl in a row and his fourth in five years. But while football's most famous mom could typically be seen cheering on her sons in a private suite during the regular and post-season NFL games (and often alongside Taylor Swift at Chiefs games), that's hardly a guarantee at the biggest game of the year.
On Wednesday, Kelce chatted with Today about the upcoming event, and was asked about seating arrangements at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and whether she and Swift might be sitting next to one another. "Well, you can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multi-million dollars, so I have a feeling I’m not in a box,” she admitted. "I have a feeling I am in the stands."
"As far as I know, I’m in the stands with everyone else because it is a pricey Super Bowl," Kelce added.
Indeed, private suites are estimated to run between $800,000 and $2 million, according to TickPick, with the most expensive luxury box reportedly going for a whopping $2.5 million. And those lucky few fortunate enough to sit in a top-tier suite will feast on an "ultimate surf and turf" themed menu with delicacies such as wagyu beef hot dogs, glazed donut sundaes, loaded carne asada fries, and seafood stuffed baked potatoes.
Speaking of Swift, the pop singer is expected to have prime seating in a private suite, if for no other reason than to have cameras feature her prominently throughout the game. Of course, that's if she's able to make the Super Bowl in the first place, as she'll be performing in Tokyo at a sold-out show the night before the game.
