Lake County Master Gardener Volunteers sets next Meet Us in the Garden session
May 7—The Lake County Master Gardener Volunteers, in partnership with the Mentor Public Library, announce their next Meet Us in the Garden session, will take place at 10 a.m. June 1 at the library's Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave.
A Lake County Master Gardener will present this timely topic, "Common Garden Mistakes & How to Fix Them."
An OSU Lake County Master Gardener will talk about some easy-to-make, and just as easy-to-avoid, gardening mistakes; how to avoid and remedy them, according to a news release. There will be a question-and-answer session afterward.
The session is free, but space is limited, so registration is required. Go to mentorpl.org, call 1-440-255-8811, or stop by the library two weeks prior to each talk.
Looking ahead, the July 6 talk will be "Gardening for Evening Enjoyment; Planting with Moonlight in Mind."
