Lady Gaga Broke Up With Dan Horton Because He Was Allegedly Too Immature for Her
We now have new intel on why Lady Gaga and her recent ex-boyfriend, Dan Horton, broke up.
According to an Us Weekly source, Gaga and Dan broke up because he “was not mature enough.”
Can you believe it’s been only four whole days since Lady Gaga and her audio engineer boyfriend, Dan Horton, broke up? It’s another dissolved relationship for Gaga, but who who cares? Mother Monster is thriving with or without a man! Gaga’s about to change pop history (again, duh) with the release of her baby, LG6, and she is currently raking in the dough thanks to her killer makeup line, Haus Laboratories. Gaga’s booked and busy, so she needs zero dead weight in her life...which is probably the reason why she and Dan split in the first place.
According to an Us Weekly source, Gaga simply could not afford to have Dan in her life anymore because there was some childishness going on—well, kinda! “Dan was not mature enough for her,” the source said. Ouch! But just because Gaga broke up with Dan doesn’t mean that she’s going to stop trying for romance. “Gaga does want to date again,” the source added.
After those first kissing photos of Gaga and Dan came out, an Entertainment Tonight source gushed about all the things Gaga enjoyed about him. “Dan’s adorable, Southern, artsy, and very different from the typical Hollywood guy,” the source said. “Right now, they are having fun and it’s convenient. She can talk music with him and knows all the big-name artists he’s worked with. She respects his work and sees him as a breath of fresh air.”
Although things didn’t work out between Gaga and Dan, the good news here is that Dan allowed Gaga to make some progress on her forthcoming album. “They have been working on new music, have spent hours of work time together and became really close. They’re working very closely together at a home studio in Hollywood, and sparks just started flying...They seem like a pretty good match,” the source added.
Welp, looks like we’ll have to keep an extremely close watch on Gaga to see if she begins seeing a brand-new mystery man. Fingers crossed!
