LACMA's Art + Film Gala

Artist Catherine Opie and filmmaker Guillermo del Toro were honored on November 3 at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s eighth annual Art+Film Gala. The evening, which was held in partnership with Gucci, was co-chaired by Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio, and raised more than $4.5 million to support the museum. After a cocktail reception on the museum’s Zev Yaroslavsky Plaza, guests proceeded to a seated dinner-where Opie and del Toro were toasted-and then ushered outdoors to enjoy musical performance from Beck and St. Vincent. Guests at the event included Alessandro Michele, Mark Bradford, Petra Collins, Alex Israel, Frank Gehry, Gia Coppola, and Ambassador Nicole Avant.
