The LA Mayor Shut Off Bryce Hall’s Lights As Punishment For Throwing a Giant Party Amid COVID
Bryce Hall threw a huge party last week for his 21st birthday.
Many were upset by this because LA County is still dealing with a spike in COVID cases.
As punishment, the LA Mayor shut off Bryce Hall's electricity.
Well, Elijah Daniel warned them. Bryce Hall's power has officially been shut off at the house he shares with fellow Sway Boys, Blake Gray and Noah Beck following the party they threw last week for Bryce's 21st birthday.
On Wednesday, LA Mayor Eric Garcetti made a statement about the situation.
"With more than 2,000 Angelenos — and over 170,000 Americans — lost to COVID-19, we need every resident to undertake critical safeguards to stop the spread of this virus," he said. "That includes not hosting or attending parties that put themselves, their neighbors, and many others at risk."
While the mayor did not specifically mention Bryce, Blake, or Noah, he did say that "despite several warnings, this house has turned into a nightclub in the hills, hosting large gatherings in flagrant violation of our public health orders." As a result, "the City has now disconnected utilities at this home to stop these parties that endanger our community."
Mayor Garcetti also tweeted about it, saying that he "authorized the City to disconnect utility service at a house in the Hollywood Hills to stop the large parties held there in flagrant violation of our public health orders. Parties like these can quickly and easily spread the virus and put our communities at risk."
Bryce seemingly confirmed that the house in question is, in fact, his. Not only did he like the mayor's tweet, but he also posted a TikTok dancing with Blake to B?rns' song, "Electric Love."
Blake also went live on Instagram, joking that it was so dark and their showers were cold.
Journalist Taylor Lorenz pointed out that while Bryce has thrown parties at his house, the 21st birthday party was not at his Hollywood Hill's home, but instead at the Sway Gaming House in Encino. Despite that, it was Bryce's house that got the power shut off.
