Event coordinators said they strive to highlight culture, tradition, and the rich history of the South Valley. “Usually, people in this community, have to cross the bridge to go to an event, and I love this event because it’s close to home for all of these people. It’s a neighborhood event,” said Spokesperson Marle Salas, La Familia Grower’s Market.
Officials said the event has moved to a temporary location at the Westside Community Center off Isleta Blvd. SW. The event takes place every Friday until September 27.
