Kylie Jenner Is Going Extension-Free During Quarantine
While self-isolating at home amid the coronavirus outbreak, people tend to fall into one of two beauty categories: all dolled up with nowhere to go or au natural. And, surprisingly, Kylie Jenner has entered the latter camp.
Switching up her usual hair and makeup routine, the reality star decided to quit her extensions, and is going on what she calls a "hair health journey" during quarantine.
On Friday, Jenner posted a video of herself flipping around her bob-length tresses in an unaltered state, with the only exception being the bronde shade she's been wearing the past couple of weeks as opposed to her natural dark brown color. "Hair health journey rn," she captioned the clip.
A few hours later, Kylie gave a few more details about why she decided to switch things up during an Instagram Live session with her BFF Stassie Karanikolaou. "This is actually the first time I've worn my natural hair," she admitted, adding that she's been experimenting with hair masks and using argan oil. However, instead of letting her locks air-dry, Kylie "used her little Dyson thing" to achieve a smooth finish, referring to one of the beauty brands many hair tools.

And it's not just her hair that she's giving a breather. The makeup mogul also revealed significantly shorter nails, saying that she sees quarantine as an opportunity to hit the reset button. “I feel so uncomfortable [about my natural nails] I don’t know how to type on my phone anymore because I usually type with the flats," Jenner explained. "My nails didn't even need to be taken off. This is such a good time to just take your hair out and your nails out, no lashes."
"We're just natural queens," Karanikolaou joked, to which Kylie replied. "So natural."
