Kristin Cavallari shows off sculpted legs in a new photo days after turning 36: 'Leaving it all behind me'
Kristin Cavallari is leaving it in the rearview.
The Laguna Beach alum, who turned 36 on Jan. 5, took to Instagram to share a photo of herself in a white tee shirt and matching bikini bottoms. The star turned away from the camera to show off her toned legs. She captioned the pic, “Leaving it all behind me."
Cavallari’s friends and followers loved the photo. Actress Jana Kramer commented, “Yeaaaas,” while hairstylist and best friend Justin Anderson joked, “‘Nice textured wall guys. Nice.’”
The Uncommon James founder has spoken recently about how proud she is of herself for getting stronger and putting on muscle weight. In a June 2022 interview with Us Weekly, she praised her personal trainer for helping her get in shape.
"He kicks my ass. He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I've ever lifted in my entire life," she said at the time. “I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”
The star also acknowledged that month how she was previously insecure about sharing photos of her body on Instagram. She did so alongside another backside photo, this time of her in a bikini at the beach.
“I’ve been sitting on this picture for a few days going back and forth on if I should post it or not,” she captioned the post. “Ultimately I decided to bc I’ve come a long way from a few years ago and I’m really proud of the progress I’ve made. I don’t even recognize the girl in those other 2 photos..and no, I never had an eating disorder..that was purely stress. I work out really hard and am dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and I think just because I’m a mom doesn’t mean I can’t be proud of my body and be comfortable in my skin. So, here ya go.”
In August of last year, she shared an Instagram video of herself deadlifting 185 pounds, which she declared was a “new record.”
