Krispy Kreme Kicks Off Pumpkin Spice Season—Here's the Fall Menu
It's officially fall at Krispy Kreme.
Pumpkin Spice doughnuts and the cozy autumn flavors of coffee arrived on the lineup of offerings beginning Monday, Aug. 7, well before a single leaf has even fallen.
Two of the four fall-inspired treats now available at participating shops may feel a little familiar, and they should, as two returning fan-favorites. The "seasonal icon" that is the Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Doughnut is an ideal combination of Krispy Kreme's glazed doughnuts and just the right amount of pumpkin spice, and the tried-and-true Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut, which features an old-fashioned pumpkin spice cake doughnut.
As for the two new flavors, they seem to be inspired by the sweeter side of fall. Krispy Kreme unveiled in a press release that new this year is a Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Swirl doughnut (which is said to be a Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnut swirled with decadent pumpkin buttercream icing and cream cheese icing, topped with a light dusting of cinnamon sugar), and Pumpkin Spice Maple Pecan doughnut (a Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnut hand-dipped in rich maple icing and topped with perfectly crunchy candied pecan pieces).
Also coming back to Krispy Kreme's fall menu is the Pumpkin Spice Latte, available hot or iced.

“Year after year, we fall in love all over again with pumpkin spice-flavored treats, and this year pumpkin spice lovers will fall the hardest at Krispy Kreme,” said Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme. “Combining two new pumpkin spice doughnuts with two fan favorites? – we’re saying to the spice AND our fans, ‘P.S., we love you’!”
Krispy Kreme's autumn-inspired treats are available in-store and for pickup at participating locations for a limited time. Fans can also find six-packs of the two new doughnuts–Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Swirl and Pumpkin Spice Maple Pecan–at select grocery stores.
Other food purveyors spicing up menus before welcoming the official changing of the seasons include 7-Eleven, Dunkin', and Starbucks–even Little Debbie is getting in on it.
There are still retailers around the country serving up summer-inspired flavors that will only be here until the weather begins to cool off, though, including Trader Joe's, Taco Bell and Wendy's.
