Kris Jenner Fully Lied to Kourtney Kardashian to Help Travis Barker with His Proposal
Kris Jenner is a bold-faced liar, according to Kris Jenner. This is a lie we can get behind though because the lie in question was part of Kris' role in helping Travis Barker pull off his epic, end-of-a-romcom-worthy proposal to Kourtney Kardashian.
During a new interview with Ellen DeGeneres for the MOM CONFESSIONS segment of the latter's talk show, Kris 'fessed to lying to her oldest daughter's face while Travis was pulling together his swoony AF proposal.
"Oh, I told Kourtney I was busy the other night," she said immediately when Ellen asked her to share a recent lie she told one of her kids. "And we were all secretly waiting for her in Montecito when she was about to get engaged."
That proposal was, of course, worth lying for. Travis went *allllll* out, popping the question at sunset...on a beach...surrounded by a display of dozens (hundreds? Possibly thousands? Seriously a LOT) of roses and several tall white candles. If you'd like to see pictures, they're all over Kourt's IG and also (we assume) in every dictionary next to the definition for "romance."
During her the Kravis portion of her chat with Ellen, Kris gushed about the couple, who she says are "really made for each other."
"They are the cutest couple," Kris said. "They are so in love. And they let us know they are so in love. Constantly."
Basking in Kravis' love bubble isn't always sunshine and secondhand butterflies, though. Kris also addressed the couple's infamous PDA and, specifically, what it's like to be a live person in the room with them when said hormone-dripping PDA is going down (you know, instead of just snooping it on Instagram like the rest of us).
For reference/just in case you somehow haven't yet witnessed the Kourtney and Travis PDA Parade of 2021, we're talking about moments like these:
"Well, you feel like you’re, you know, they’re the only two people in the room, and we almost don’t know what to do with ourselves," she explained (per Page Six). "Like, I’m looking for a closet to hide in and somewhere to go, so. But they’re, you know, they’re in that stage, and it’s really, really special, and I’m so excited. He was really cute."
This brings new meaning to the term "sickeningly sweet," but, honestly, we're still here for it.
