Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Are Expecting Their First Child Together
Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant, "okurrr!"
The Kardashians star, 44, announced the couple's happy baby news during husband Travis Barker's Blink-182 concert in Los Angeles on June 16.
As shown in an Instagram video posted to the Poosh founder's page, Kardashian held up a sign in the crowd that read, "Travis I'm Pregnant," later planting a kiss on the famed drummer, 47.
Barker's bandmates also celebrated the news, cheering along with the crowd and also embracing the reality TV star.
The new baby will be Kardashian's fourth child, as she previously welcomed children Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8, with ex Scott Disick, 40. Barker is also already a dad, as he is a father to son Landon, 19, daughter Alabama, 17, and stepdaughter Atiana, 24, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
Kardashian and Barker's pregnancy news comes over one year after the pair married in a lavish ceremony in Italy. The duo also notably married in two other ceremonies— a legally non-binding celebration in Las Vegas and another intimate ceremony at the Santa Barbara courthouse.
In the months following their nuptials, the A-list couple has opened up about their struggle to conceive, even documenting their IVF journey on Kardashian's Hulu docu-series.
In fact, Kardashian just shared a bittersweet pregnancy update on the popular program, telling viewers in the May 25 episode that she and her husband were "officially done with IVF."
She continued, "We would love a baby more anything, but I just really believe in what God has in store for us. If that's a baby, then I believe that it will happen."
As the episode continued, Kardashian explained that several of her frozen eggs did not "survive the thaw because eggs are one cell and then none of them made it to an embryo."
"The freezing of the eggs isn't guaranteed and I think that that's like a misunderstanding," she explained, "people do it thinking that it's like a safety net and then it's not."
Kardashian also shed light on the toll IVF took on her body, noting, "My health is still impacted because it's hormones and also, like, mentally it definitely like took a toll, so I think just being happy is most important and being a good parent to my kids."
She added, "We are just embracing that whatever's meant to be will be."
Well, it's clear that Baby Barker was meant to be.
