Kit Kat Is Releasing A New Candy Bar With Layers Of Mocha Creme, Chocolate, And Coffee Bits

New candy is fun and all, but there's something even more exciting about classic candies getting a new flavor makeover. Kit Kat has been releasing so many limited edition flavors recently, and now they're officially releasing their second DUOS candy bar that will come in a mocha chocolate flavor.

In April of 2019, news of the first Kit Kat DUOS candy bar was officially released, but it wasn't until December that is actually started popping up in stores. The first DUOS flavor was a mint and dark chocolate bar, with a mint creme layered on top of the classic Kit Kat wafer and a dark chocolate layer at the base. You could taste both flavors in each bite, which will be the same for the new DUOS Kit Kat.

Just the second candy bar in the DUOS line, the mocha and chocolate will layer mocha creme on top of the Kit Kat wafer with a sweet chocolate bottom layer. I'm guessing it will taste just like the Starbucks mocha Frapp in a candy bar. Starting this November, the mocha and chocolate DUOS Kit Kat will officially be a permanent installment, so you can get it all year round once it starts hitting shelves.

Not only does it blend two classic flavors into one candy bar, it also has real bits of coffee in every bite. Senior manager of Kit Kat, Amy Minderman, said in a press release: "The expanding DUOS line is special because we can explore both flavor innovation and flavor pairings. Consumers clamor for the latest and greatest from the Kit Kat brand and we believe our newest star will not disappoint; with real coffee bits wrapped in a mocha flavored creme surrounding the undeniable Kit Kat wafer, what's not to love."

Kit Kat has never shied away from exploring new flavors with things like orange creamsicle and apple pie finding their way onto the classic Kit Kat wafer, so it's likely mocha chocolate will be just as much of a hit. Thankfully this flavor is *not* limited edition, so you'll have all the time in the world to try it out for yourself.
