Kit Harington Is Getting Married & He’ll Shut Down ‘GoT’ Production If He Wants To
When Kit Harington and Rose Leslie announced their engagement, we envisioned Khaleesi-inspired bridesmaids gowns and the newlyweds riding off into the sunset on dragons. While this dream scenario, unfortunately, won’t come to fruition, the betrothed couple will invite the entire Game of Thrones cast and crew.
Harington appeared on the British talk show The Jonathan Ross Show last night and giddily revealed he already informed GoT producers they may need to shift their season eight shooting schedule...because they’re inviting the entire cast and crew. You get an invite! You get an invite! Everyone gets an invite!
The GoT star said of his conversation with one of the show’s producers, “I rang him up and I said, ‘I’m getting married, and it’s your fault, actually... You need to factor in a Game of Thrones wedding, by the way. [The cast] have all got to be there, so the whole thing has got to be shut down.’”
As for the proposal, Jon Snow proved he knows nothing about appropriately describing the big moment. He went on to paint the picture of his proposal with some very intimate details: “I did have some plans to do it. I was going to string up some lights in some trees and do all the romantic stuff. But we were in the country, and we were under this beautiful night sky and had a log fire burning and red wine, and I blew my load early.”
Realizing his poor choice of words, Harington backpeddaled and said, “Sorry, that’s a really bad expression... I meant to do it the day after with the lights. What I meant to say was I popped my question a bit early. Not blew my load.”
A happy GoT wedding episode? Yes, please!
