Kim Kardashian Isn't "Afraid" to Disagree with Kanye West When They're Alone, Sources Say
In the wake of Kanye West's relatively infamous performance (and rant) on Saturday Night Live this weekend, Kim Kardashian is standing by him publicly, but things aren't necessarily like that when they're alone.
“She lets him take the lead, and she never disagrees with him publicly," a source told People. "She has decided that’s the right move, but she isn’t scared to share her disagreements with him behind closed doors."
For example, after multiple celebrities called Kanye out for his behavior, Kim posted this picture of he two of them on Instagram, mirroring what he said in his impromptu speech that everyone needs to "try love."
Kanye has always had his own opinions. He's been vocal about his support for Donald Trump, even paying him a visit at Trump Tower after the election. Kim, however, supported Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election. She's less vocal about those opinions than he is.
“Don’t think that she’s afraid of him, because she’s not,” the source adds. “She’s just managing him the best she can.”
Whether she supports him publicly or not, she's still embarrassed by his behavior, a source said earlier this week.
“Having all this backlash against Kanye is embarrassing for her and her family, but she will never say that."
