Kim Kardashian Exudes Dark Glamour in Leather and Lace Gown
Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian looked like a gothic teenage dream in her latest red carpet appearance.
The SKIMS founder stepped out for the 2023 CFDA Awards at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City on Nov. 6, where she was draped in a fitted black leather gown covered in crosses made of lace embellishments with a fringed hem.
The cut of the dress also gave the 5'2" reality star an air of elevated height, with the high-neck transitioning seamlessly to the fabric of the bust and creating the illusion of a longer neck.
And we have to give it to the back of the gown, too, which featured an open back, aside from the buckle securing one side to the other, and the asymmetrical line caused by the crosses on the furthest sides. It was buttoned down from her waist to her calves, where the rest of the dress opened to show off her toned legs and the height of her platform heels.
It's no wonder the celebrities in attendance of the Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Awards pulled out all the stops for their own looks.
Demi Moore was also present that evening, stunning in a silver strapless midi gown covered in sequins with an oversized black blazer on top, looking every bit a disco ball in the right lighting.
Heidi Klum's daughter Leni was also spotted on the red carpet, where she rocked a festive, flirty dress featuring a coreseted nude top with dramatic cage sleeves and a red pencil skirt made of satin and silk, which failed to impress the viewers at home.
But, as they say, you win some and you lose some.
