Are Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson Breaking Up?
As allegations that Tristan Thompson cheated on pregnant girlfriend Khloé Kardashian gain coverage and public interest, fans have wondered what the fallout means for the basketball player and his reality star partner’s relationship.
Despite the obvious devastation on Khloé’s behalf (she’s set to deliver her and Thompson’s first child any day now), a source close to the famous family tells People that it’s unlikely she’ll cut Tristan loose.
“She’s a hopeless romantic and she’ll try to make this work,” the source explained, adding that this is not the first time she’s dealt with a cheating partner. “She tried forever to make it work with Lamar [Odom]. She’s having a child with Tristan, and she’s going to try to rebuild this.”
According to the source, what likely hits hardest is how the news is affecting the final days of her pregnancy. “This is supposed to be the most joyous time in her life and it’s been ruined and that’s probably what hurts most of all,” they said.
“Khloé could probably convince herself to get over the fact that he maybe, kind of, sort of, hooked up with some groupie while out on the road. But being so indiscreet about it and letting it get splashed all over the place and having it humiliate her? That’s actually even worse.”
Neither Kardashian nor Thompson has publicly addressed the cheating rumors at this time.
