Keira Knightley Confirms She Named Second Daughter Delilah & Talks Motherhood
Earlier this month, Keira Knightley revealed that she and her husband, James Righton, welcomed their second child…more than a month prior. And now, we finally have a name for the new baby.
In a recent interview with The Telegraph, the 34-year-old actress confirmed that she named her second daughter Delilah. Knightley and Righton are also parents to 4-year-old Edie.
While discussing her newest addition, Knightley admitted that her secret to maintaining a work-life balance is bringing her breast pump with her everywhere she goes.
“If I don’t do it my boobs will explode,” she said. “I mean, quite literally. It’s going everywhere. So, you know, that’s not happening. The pump is with me. It’s fine.”
The Pirates of the Caribbean alum also revealed that she is fully accustomed to operating with little to no sleep, adding, “The weird thing with acting is that sleep deprivation basically makes your emotions very close to the surface. It’s much easier to cry. You feel like crying all the time, so I can turn that on like that, so this is great. Thanks, kid.”
In early October, Knightley addressed recent rumors claiming she had given birth to baby number two and low-key confirmed the child’s arrival. “You can tell I’ve got a 6-week-old baby, can’t you?!” she said in an interview with BBC Breakfast. “I’m talking, but I’ve got no idea where I’m going.”
Pleased to meet you, baby Delilah.
