Kathy Griffin fires back at 'deeply misogynistic' Andy Cohen
Kathy Griffin is not here for Andy Cohen’s shade. Hours after the Watch What Happens Live host pretended not to know who she was, Griffin is calling Cohen out for treating her “like a dog” and being “deeply misogynistic.”
Cohen replaced Griffin as the co-host for CNN’s New Year’s Eve Celebration alongside Anderson Cooper after she was fired, so it’s no surprise there’s bad blood. Griffin and Cooper had a major falling out after 17 years of friendship following her controversial Trump photo shoot.
After touching down at LAX, Cohen was asked by TMZ if he’d spoken to Griffin about the gig. “Who?” Cohen responds, feigning ignorance as to who they are asking about. “Who? I don’t know her.”
Still playing dumb, Cohen adds that he hasn’t talked to her and says his BFF, Anderson Cooper, are “a duo,” having been on tour together for two-and-a-half years. Well, Griffin caught wind of Cohen’s shtick and was not amused, saying Cohen treated her horribly during her time on Bravo.
Even when it’s on tape, there are doubters? He is NOT kidding w paps. Was my boss for 10 years. Treated me like a dog. Deeply misogynistic https://t.co/geqFsLtWy1

Bravo was the home to Griffin’s reality show, My Life on the D List. She has also had stand-up specials on the network.
Cooper was quick to call out Griffin after the photo scandal, after she held up a bloody severed “head” of President Trump.
For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate.

Shortly after the incident, Cooper claimed on Watch What Happens Live that he and Griffin were “still friends” saying, “Look, I said what I said about — I didn’t think what she said was appropriate, but I wish her the best and I hope she bounces back.”
Griffin later claimed he hadn’t even reached out to her yet at that time and that it took him two months to get in touch. After they finally communicated, she apparently told him their friendship was over. That’s evident, given she called him a “spineless heiress” earlier this week. (Cooper is the son of Gloria Vanderbilt, who is a descendent of shipping and railroad tycoon Cornelius Vanderbilt.)
Cooper has yet to weigh in on the Cohen-Griffin feud, but we have a good guess as to which side he’s on.
