Kate Winslet's Daughter Looks Exactly Like Her in Footage From Upcoming Series
She gets it from her mama! Kate Winslet's daughter is taking after her mom in more ways than one, and she looks just like the Titanic star in recently released photos.
Winslet's daughter, Mia Threapleton, is one of the stars of Apple TV+'s upcoming series based on the Edith Wharton novel, The Buccaneers—and from the looks of it, the 22-year-old is following right in Winslet's footsteps.
As seen in footage obtained by the Daily Mail, Threapleton bared a striking resemblance to her mom while getting into her character as Lady Honoria Marabel for the new eight-part series.
The historical drama—set to release in November—will also star Kristine Froseth, 13 Reasons Why's Alisha Boe, Imogen Waterhouse, the sister of Daisy Jones & the Six star, Suki Waterhouse, as well as Christina Hendricks and more notable names.
Therapleton—whom Winslet shares with ex-husband Jim Threapleton—previously made her acting debut in the 2014 film A Little Chaos. She later starred in the 2020 mystery drama, Shadows.
In 2022, Threapleton starred alongside her mom in the Channel 4 program, I Am Ruth, for which Winslet ended up taking home the Leading Actress award at the BAFTA TV Awards back in May. (The program also won the award for Best Single Drama.)
"We did this together kiddo," Winslet told her daughter while getting on stage to deliver an emotional speech.
"There were days when it was agony for her to dig as deeply as she did into very frightening emotional territory and it took my breath away," the proud mom said of her daughter, who could be seen with tears streaming down her face in the audience.
Threapleton also gave a big whistle in support of her mom after she wrapped up her moving speech, while the rest of the audience also joined in with applause.
