Kate Middleton's Latest Outfit Skipped Spring and Went Straight to Summer
Spring has officially arrived, but Kate Middleton is already dressing for summer.
On Sunday afternoon, the Duchess of Cambridge and her husband Prince William capped off the first full day of their Caribbean tour at a family-run cocoa farm in Belize, and she wore the perfect warm weather outfit for the visit. Wearing a breezy, bright blue floral midi dress with a smocked bodice and tiered skirt by Tory Burch, Kate paired the tropical-ready garment with coordinating blue pom-pom hoop earrings, a pair of white espadrilles, and at one point, aviator sunglasses.
Rather than her typical bouncy blowout, Kate wore her hair in relaxed waves that matched the laid-back nature of the island.
Will and Kate followed up their cocoa farm visit with a trip to the beach-front village of Hopkins, where they were greeted with a demonstration of Garifuna culture — including music and dance. They also met with conservation specialists to learn about restoration efforts to preserve the area's barrier reef.
"Wow! What a welcome ??," the couple wrote alongside a video edit of their stop-off in Hopkins on Instagram. "It was a privilege to spend time with the Garifuna community and experience some of their traditions, here in Hopkins. Thank you Mama G for hosting such a special event!"
