Kate Middleton Stepped Out in a Chic McQueen Skirt Suit in Leicestershire
Kate Middleton and Prince William returned to work today with Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. The four senior royals rarely do events together, and the Duchess of Cambridge debuted a new sharp suit for the occasion. Kate was in a two-piece navy Alexander McQueen outfit with Ralph Lauren boots. She accessorized minimally, wearing dangle earrings and her hair half up, half down. Her husband Prince William also dressed in navy, complementing her ensemble.
Kate, William, Charles, and Camilla are at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Stanford Hall today--the first of their engagements in Leicestershire.
Their arrival there comes shortly after the royal family announced today that William's cousin and the Queen's grandson Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn are separating. The couple's spokesperson said they informed the Queen and their families last year and spent many months discussing things before coming to their decision.
Peter and Autumn have two daughters together, Isla, 7, and Savannah, 9, who have been seen playing with Kate and William's two oldest children Prince George and Princess Charlotte at events.
In a statement, the couple's spokesperson said, "They had reached the conclusion that this was the best course of action for their two children and ongoing friendship. The decision to divorce and share custody came about after many months of discussions and although sad, is an amicable one." The two remain committed to co-parenting their children first and foremost: "Both families were naturally sad at the announcement but fully supportive of Peter and Autumn in the joint decision to co-parent their children."
