Kate Middleton Shares New Photos of Prince Louis to Celebrate His Second Birthday
Prince Louis is here to lift our spirits in these troubled times. The young royal is celebrating his second birthday tomorrow, and five new photos of him, taken by Kate Middleton earlier this month, have been released to mark the occasion—a move that's become something of a tradition for Kate and Prince William's kids.
In the sweet images, Louis is enjoying experimenting with paint—and we even get to see the results of his artmaking!
Louis is currently staying with his parents and older siblings at Anmer Hall, the Cambridges' home on the grounds of Sandringham, their residence in Norfolk. While Kate and Will have been using Zoom to keep up with their responsibilities, opening hospitals from afar and video calling with workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis, their three kids have been adapting to changes in their own lifestyles.
Rather than attending Thomas's Battersea, a tony private school in London, Princess Charlotte and Prince George are getting an education at home—and finding plenty of time for recreation. "The children have got such stamina," Kate told the BBC in a recent interview. "You pitch a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake. You get to the end of the day—they've had a lovely time, but it's amazing how much you can cram into a day, that's for sure."
They've also been keeping in touch with their relatives on video chat—though Louis isn't making it easy. ""It gets a bit hectic, I’m not going to lie, with the two-year-old," Kate said in the same interview.
William agreed. "For some reason he sees the red button, and always wants to press the red button," the Prince admitted.
