Kate Middleton Nails The Monochromatic Trend Yet Again In A Forest Green Ensemble While Visiting A Women’s Hospital
Kate Middleton, a.k.a. our eternal fall style icon, just rocked another monochromatic, cozy-looking and affordable get-up! The Princess of Wales, 40, stepped out last week in a knitted, long-sleeved Mango midi dress with a stylish, forest green hue and added a belted Hobbs overcoat in a similar shade. Middleton visited the Colham Manor Children’s Centre in Hillingdon, West London, on behalf of the Maternal Mental Health Alliance to speak with the staff, and learned more about how the center aids new mothers and families. The royal family member’s chic $60 dress is from the popular Spanish brand, and part of a simple, elegant and timeless look that we want to recreate for our next fall outing.

Details of Middleton’s All-Green, Waist-Defining Ensemble
While conversing with the hospital employees and children at the gathering, Middleton rocked Gianvito Rossi pumps and carried a dark green Jimmy Choo clutch to accessorize. The princess wore her long, brunette tresses down, parted to the side, and styled into her signature loose waves. To highlight her toned figure and tiny waist, Middleton added a black leather belt to her high-neck, fitted, ribbed Mango dress, and dazzled up her outfit even more with dangly, shimmering earrings by Kiki McDonough.

Middleton, who has long been an advocate for maternal mental health, also serves as a patron for the Maternal Mental Health Alliance (MMHA) charity. MMHA is comprised of 120 organizations that work to ensure that women, mothers, infants and families experiencing perinatal mental health problems receive the support and care that they need. Middleton’s patronage combines two of her main charitable focuses, including the importance of early childhood development, and mental health.

Middleton Goes Viral For Sweet Interaction With A 3-Year-Old Boy
A video of Middleton chatting with an adorable toddler went viral soon after her visit to the center. In the clip, the mother of three knelt down to speak with a child named Akeem, who asked the royal her name. “My name is Catherine,” she told the boy, who simply replied, “Okay,” as seen in the video circulating on Twitter. When the child expressed his interest in learning more about Middleton’s red poppy pin (worn in remembrance of soldiers lost in war), she gave the pin to him and his mother, taking it off her coat. “Do you know what this is for?” she asked. “It’s for remembering all the soldiers who died in the war. There you go — that’s for you.”
It’s not everyday you get a poppy from a Princess Akeem who’s 3 was very chatty when Kate unexpectedly stopped to say hello at a maternity mental health visit so she gave him her remembrance poppy. In a tweet on Middleton and her husband Prince William’s shared page, her office wrote, “A wonderful first visit with the Maternal Mental Health Alliance this morning, seeing its work and the benefit a holistic approach brings to so many mothers and families. Spending some time with new mothers, understanding more about their experiences of mental health and how integrated services are making a real difference in the community.”
