Kate Middleton Makes Confession About Her Singing Abilities

Kate Middleton is a woman of many talents—she’s a killer player on the rugby field, has a keen eye for photography and can apparently sing?!

Back in December, the royal family gathered for the second annual Royal Carols: Together at Christmas concert at Westminster Abbey. The holiday event honored the memory of the late Queen Elizabeth II, who sadly passed away at the age of 96 last September.

Princess Catherine (who also hosted the concert) was joined by her husband, Prince William, and their oldest children: Prince George (9) and Princess Charlotte (7). Sadly, Prince Louis wasn’t able to attend.

The Princess of Wales had a chance to chat with musical theater star Alfie Boe at the event and she made a shocking confession. Not only did the royal princess confess that she can sing, but she also revealed that her children are not the biggest fans of her singing voice.

“On the piano, you can slightly hide away a bit more than you can do singing,” she said, according to Hello! Magazine. “Actually my children probably wouldn’t forgive me—I’m not sure whether they think I’ve got a particularly good singing voice. I’ll have to have some lessons.”

Other members of the royal family were in attendance at the concert, including King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla. When the royal couple arrived at the event, Princess Catherine greeted them with a kiss on the cheek and an honorary curtsy.

This is the first time she has greeted her in-laws with such a traditional gesture in public—since King Charles ascended the throne following the passing of his mother.
