Kate Middleton Allegedly Used This Face Oil for Her Pregnancy Glow — and It’s 30% Off

As a beauty writer, I've come to know which celebrities love which products. Some are clear endorsements, like Kerry Washington's and Jennifer Garner's passion for Neutrogena. Others fly more under-the-radar, like Sarah Jessica Parker's beloved hair volumizer and Emily Ratajkowski's Instagram reveal of her skincare favorites. But other routines are my personal white whale — like Kate Middleton's go-to beauty picks.
It's safe to assume that we'll never get the full story on what's scattered around Middleton's vanity (just kidding — from her ultra-composed outfits, I'm guessing she's the organized type). Thanks to the queen's aversion to the royal family endorsing specific brands — outside of Prince Charles' organic cookie company, which always sparks joy — the last dribble of info on Middleton's beauty routine came from "a source close to the Duchess," who told Us Weekly in 2015 that Middleton started using Trilogy's Rosehip Oil while pregnant with Charlotte.
"Kate continues to use rosehip oil in her daily skincare regimen," the source said. "She loves the effect it has on her skin. [Her mother] Carole [Middleton] is also a fan." That's all they wrote, but it was enough to keep the product on the back of my radar for the last six years. Pregnancy is notoriously hard on your body, but throughout all of her pregnancies, Middleton's radiant glow didn't falter — and if this oil had a hand in it, it's worth remembering.

Sales on Trilogy's rosehip oil don't happen often, and it normally costs over $50 for a 1.5 ounce bottle. So when I happened upon Middleton's alleged favorite face oil 30 percent off — at an under-the-radar destination, no less — my heart leapt out of my chest. Right now, SkinStore has both sizes of the rosehip oil marked down, from $54 to $37.80 for the 1.5-ounce size and from $40 to $28 for a .7-ounce bottle.
Shoppers in the SkinStore reviews say the oil has cured dry, flaky skin "like no other product has," while on Amazon, shoppers write that the oil's "magic" halted their cycle of pimples and turned angry acne scars, hyperpigmentation and wrinkles into glowing skin. "It's the best thing I have ever tried," one shopper says. "My skin has never looked better. I was actually able to go without makeup again.. something I haven't been able to do in at least 15 years!"
Within just a day, another reviewer said they noticed a ramped-up glow and post-acne hyperpigmentation lightening. Someone else added that it's "completely transformed" their face, pores, and fine lines, and left their wrinkles "far less noticeable." Will Middleton ever post her skin routine on the Kensington Royal Insta? Certainly not. But with this Trilogy oil in hand, us commoners can glow like royalty just the same.
