Kanye West’s Business Evicted From LA Offices And Reportedly ‘Behind On Rent’ Amid Public Cancellation
Things are going from bad to worse for Kanye West, following his extremely troubling behavior over the past few months, which has included erratic social media rants, anti-Semitic comments, and controversial dinners with former president Donald Trump and White nationalist Nick Fuentes.
The 45-year-old Yeezy designer’s personal life isn’t looking great following his official divorce from 42-year-old estranged ex-wife Kim Kardashian, and neither is his professional life since major brands like Adidas, Gap, and Balenciaga cut ties with him over his aforementioned controversial behavior. And another thing that we bet the “Praise God” rapper is not happy with is the fact that he now faces eviction from his Los Angeles based Yeezy offices due to months of unpaid rent. Ouch!

Kanye West's Latest Financial Problems
According to reports, Kanye's Yeezy company faces eviction from its Calabasas offices after the building’s owner, a company called CT Calabasas, alleged that he hasn’t paid rent in two months. And big Los Angeles offices for such a large company come at quite the cost, as RadarOnline reports that Kanye currently owes an eye-watering $63,254!
Kanye first leased the 15,000 sq. feet of space back in 2015 when his company was called West Brands Fashion; and it now reportedly includes production facilities for his Yeezy clothing line, as well as a music recording studio and design spaces. Could the fact that so many brands have cut ties with Ye actually mean that he can't afford to pay the rent?!
CT Calabasas Files Eviction Notice
The official eviction notice has been obtained by RadarOnline; and it doesn't sound good for the "Eazy" rapper! "Within three days after service of this notice on you, you must pay the amount of said rent in full or quit said premises and deliver up possession of the same to the authorized agent for your landlord," the eviction notice, which was filed on Tuesday, December 13th, read.
It continued: "If you fail to pay or quit, legal proceedings will be instituted against you for possession of the premises, forfeiture of the agreement, and for monetary damages as may be allowed by law. You are further notified that by this Notice the Landlord elects to and does hereby declare a forfeiture of said Lease if said rent is not paid in full within three (3) days."
Kanye's Financial Struggles Continue
Big brands cutting ties with the "Hurricane" rapper and causing him to lose a reported $2B and lose his place on the Forbes billionaires list hasn’t come at the best time (is it ever a good time?!) due to Kanye's ongoing divorce settlement with Kim Kardashian.
According to a settlement reached on Tuesday, November 29th, Kanye has to pay his ex-wife $200,000 a month in child support, to ensure their four children, North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3 continue living the lives they are accustomed to, including payments for their private security, private school and eventual college costs. Legal experts have claimed that Ye *could* ask for this number to be reduced if his financial situation changes drastically enough, but at the moment, he is still expected to pay the agreed sum of $200,000.
Forbes reported that without his Adidas deal, the "Heaven and Hell" rapper is worth $400M, with the remainder of his wealth coming from cash, real estate, music, and a 5% stake in Kim's shapewear line, Skims, although we don’t know whether this will officially change following his controversial comments.
