Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook Finalize Their Divorce Less Than a Year After Announcing Split
Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook are officially divorced. Entertainment Tonight reports that the former couple have legally parted ways less than a year after announcing their split in September 2021 (the judgment was filed in a Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday).
In a statement shared with People at the time, Kaley and Karl said "Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions. We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary."
They added, "We have made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further."
Kaley and Karl were married for four years (and didn't live together for much of their relationship). Following their split, Kaley started dating Ozark actor Tom Pelphrey—though don't expect them to get married anytime soon / ever. As Kaley put it to Glamour, “I will never get married again. I would love to have a long-lasting relationship or a partnership. But I will never get married again. Absolutely not. You can literally put that on the cover.”
