Justin Bieber Publicly Grilled Hailey Bieber About Her Favorite Thing About Being Married to Him
Asking your partner to list their favorite things about being with you in private gives major validation-seeking energy. Asking them the same question publicly for an international audience, however, honestly just feels like a flex—just look at Justin Bieber, oozing relationship confidence all over Hailey Bieber in her new Vogue Australia cover interview.
Justin actually put on his reporter hat and conducted the interview with Hailey personally. As Vogue Australia brags in story's headline, this marks the first time Justin has ever interviewed Hailey (which I guess is one of the relationship milestones of the rich and the famous ˉ\_(ツ)_/ˉ) and he used the opportunity to get her to go on the record about how great being married to him is.
After several very PR-heavy questions about Hailey's skincare brand, Rhode, Justin commented about how cool it's been, as a husband, to watch her build the business, which seemed to prompt him to take a hard right away from Rhode questions to talking about their personal life. Basically, after revealing something cool about being married to Hailey, he gave her the chance to return the favor and share something cool about being married to him.
Hailey's revelation on the subject was essentially that the best thing about being married to Justin Bieber is that you get to spend so much time hanging out with Justin Bieber (which should feel very validating to your middle school self, since that's exactly what everyone who spent the "Baby" era wallpapering their room in Tiger Beat posters of Justin would have predicted was the best thing about Bieber matrimony).
"Mmm ... My favorite thing about being married is honestly the companionship I feel we have," she said. "Genuinely, you are my best friend in the entire world. There’s nobody I would rather spend more time with or do anything with."
Since magazine covers are often booked months in advance, the interview was presumably conducted a while ago, before the Biebers' latest round of Selena Gomez drama. But the timing (coming on the heels of said drama escalating to the point of Hailey limiting her IG comments and Selena announcing a social media break) still has coincidental clap back vibes. Like, obviously logic says it's a total coincidence, but something about it feels like universe is being actively petty and committed to never letting the Selena-Justin-Hailey drama die.
